Alnif Museum

Discover the ancient wonders of Morocco's geological history

About the Museum

The Alnif Museum houses one of the most extensive collections of Moroccan fossils in the world. Founded in 2010 by Mohand Ihmadi, a local geologist and paleontology enthusiast, our museum showcases specimens collected from the rich fossil beds of southeastern Morocco.

Our mission is to preserve these geological treasures while educating visitors about Morocco's ancient past. The museum features specimens ranging from the Cambrian to the Cretaceous periods, with special emphasis on the Devonian trilobites that make this region famous among paleontologists.
